Our Story

Hi there! My name is Sarah, aka Zelda’s mom ☺

Zelda’s Mission was born from the love of one very special dog — Zelda.

In 2014, Zelda was rescued from an overcrowded Texas shelter, scared and unsure of what life had in store for her. What she didn’t know then was that she was about to change everything. From the moment she joined our family, she became our soul dog — the heart behind every rescue effort, foster placement, and life saved since.

Her story opened our eyes to how many amazing dogs never get that same chance. Overcrowded shelters, limited funding, and heartbreaking euthanasia lists are an everyday reality for too many. Zelda’s Mission was created to help change that — one dog at a time.

Since adopting Zelda in 2014, we’ve had the privilege of fostering 17 animals — each with their own story, personality, and second chance. What began as one adoption turned into a lifelong passion for rescue work. Today, we proudly coordinate adoptions and foster placements with Three Little Pitties Rescue, helping dogs find their forever homes across the U.S. and beyond.

Through our shop, we combine love for rescue animals with creativity and community. Every purchase helps fund rescue efforts, including boarding for shelter dogs, medical care, and transportation to safety. It’s more than apparel — it’s purpose you can wear.

We believe that when people come together — rescuers, fosters, adopters, and animal lovers alike — we create ripples of hope that reach far beyond our own homes.

Zelda’s Mission is our promise: to keep fighting for the ones still waiting, to give them time, hope, and love, and to never forget the dog who started it all.
